Ashley is a sophomore at Tulane University studying International Development and Political Economy. She grew up in Texas, but also spent two years of her life living in and traveling through Asia on an international Broadway production of “The Sound of Music.” She is thrilled to be contributing to NolaWoman.com, as she has significant experience with publication. She currently works for The Tulane Hullabaloo as a layout editor, senior staff writer and senior staff photographer. Her interest in writing and photography began in high school when she started working for her school’s Newspaper and Yearbook. Having spent many years being photographed as part of press and other events for her theatrical ventures, she now enjoys being on the other side of the lens, capturing special moments for other people and sharing the world with others the way she sees it. In her spare time, you can find her taking pictures and playing with various Adobe design programs, reading, scrolling through the depths of the internet and jamming to all genres of music, wishing she could attend every concert and every festival that comes through town.
