Dr. Dena Moore is a therapist at the Center for Health and Healing located at 541 Julia Street, Suite 201, New Orleans, LA. She obtained her Masters in Community Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Dena has over 15 years of experience in clinical counseling and in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs in both higher education and nonprofits. Dena works with a variety of clients with a broad range of concerns and has advanced training and experience in working with relationship, sexual, parenting, career, and life transition issues of families and couples. She is skilled in working with LGBTQI couples and families. She has worked extensively with persons in crisis and with adult survivors of child abuse, neglect, and other types of trauma.
